This is JONATHAN
Jonathan Michell is a Texas criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor with more than fourteen years of experience trying cases to juries across Texas. He brings clients a practical, courtroom-tested perspective shaped by years of handling serious criminal matters from both sides of the justice system.
Before becoming a defense attorney, Jonathan served with the Guadalupe County District Attorney’s Office, where he handled hundreds of cases referred by more than a dozen law enforcement agencies. That experience gave him firsthand insight into how prosecutors evaluate evidence, prepare witnesses, negotiate cases, and present arguments to judges and juries.
At BRCK, Jonathan uses that background to identify weaknesses in the government’s case and build defense strategies designed for real courtroom conditions. He is direct, prepared, and focused on helping clients understand the process while protecting their future at every stage.
Outside the courtroom, Jonathan enjoys traveling, taking his dog to off-leash hiking trails, baking and bringing treats into the office, and lobbying for San Antonio to finally get a professional football team.
